VINCENNES UNIVERSITY:

Incorporated in 1806, Vincennes University is a two-year institution that was the first university in the Indiana Territory. William Henry Harrison, the first governor of the Indiana Territory and later (1841) president of the United States, was the founder and first chair of the board of trustees of the university.

*The College Network also offers an Associate of Science in Nursing: This degree program requires a total of 66 semester hours. Of the 66 semester hours, 28 will be in the nursing core curriculum and 30 will be in the humanities, social sciences, natural sciences, and elective areas. The remaining eight semester hours will be obtained upon successful completion of a selected weekend clinical competency examination administered by Excelsior College at one of several regionally designated hospitals throughout the country.

INDIANA STATE UNIVERSITY:

Founded in 1865, Indiana State University (ISU) is located on the banks of the Wabash River in Terre Haute, Indiana. ISU’s School of Nursing was established in 1963 and has distinguished itself as one of the nation’s premier nursing programs.

• BS – LPN to Bachelor of Science in Nursing

LPN License is the admissions requirement. Clinicals are 450 hours w/preceptor. 136 LPB Semester Hours are required to complete the program. It takes 36 to 48 months to complete the program online.
