EDUCATION FAIRS

An Education Fair is a one stop shop for your group to obtain first hand information about college degree programs (from associate to doctorate), financial aid, tuition, admission requirements, schedules and classes from a variety of schools.  Many employers open the Education Fair to all TBHEA member schools to attend, but if you need to limit the number of schools, you may do so.

A representative of the TBHEA will work with you to coordinate an on-site Education Fair at your company or organization.  This service is free of charge and is an excellent way to positively impact employee morale by promoting higher education.

Your company or organization is provided with a forum where your employees are encouraged to pursue educational and professional development.

Typically an Education Fair is held in a cafeteria or lobby to maximize visibility, but space restrictions are always taken into consideration during the planning stages. Where desired, fairs can be scheduled over multiple days in order to increase attendance (by both schools and employees) and allow for participation by different employee shifts. The duration of a typical Education Fair is three to four hours during peak employee traffic times, but the fair can be scheduled to best accommodate your specific group.

We make your job easy!  Your TBHEA school representative will coordinate your Education Fair and provide the following information tools to promote the event throughout your facility:

  • Posters (for use throughout the facility)
  • Flyers (for departmental distribution or to attach to paychecks)
  • Email blast (a notice to be e-mailed to employees or posted on intranet site)
  • Table Tents (for use on break room or cafeteria tables)

Since TBHEA’s inception in 2001, our members have coordinated and participated in hundreds of Ed Fairs and wellness events throughout the Greater Tampa Bay area.
